Quality INNER CITY Melbourne homestay rooms for international students and visitors (travellers, short-term workers, holiday-makers, visiting scholarship holders, interns). We offer English language conversation, good quality meals as required, clean and comfortable rooms (central gas heating with ducts in bedrooms), orientation to Melbourne, ensuite bathroom (subject to availability), huge clean kitchen, laundry facilities. Single or shared fully furnished rooms. Make friends from other cultures - enjoy eating meals with other overseas students.
We are a friendly family consisting of myself (English literature lecturer) and my daughter (16). We are AUSTRALIAN-BORN, with English ancestry. Excellent, native English speakers. 
We have one cat. Our home is a ten minute walk to all the city universities (Melbourne university, RMIT, Australian Catholic university, and all the city English language colleges, eg. Taylors College, Ozford College, etc). We are 20 minutes from Monash university (Caulfield campus) and 30 minutes from La Trobe university (Bundoora). We are a 20 minute tram/train ride to Swinburne University (Hawthorn) and Hawthorn Language Centre.

Our accommodation is $280 per person per week (minimum four-week stay).This price includes utilities (gas, electricity, water, washing machine usage, meals as requested). No contracts or bond. Students obtain own wireless USB device (less than $30 per month).
