Hello everyone ... My name is Peris and I would like to offer accommodation to visitors to Nakuru in Kenya. I have 3 bedrooms available in my house all with double beds. The house is detached in its own secure compound with a large yard for parking many cars. The house is situated about 10minutes walk from Nakuru town centre and is on the road to the main entrance of the Lake Nakuru National Park [about 10 minutes drive] My 11year old daughter goes to a local boarding school so she is home during the school vacations. I have my own business in Nakuru called Premier Tours Safaris and Travel Agency which keeps me at work Monday - Saturday. The business also has a fleet of cars which are rented out to clients for travel and safaris. Picking up a Homestay guest at Nairobi airport is no problem for me. The house is large, clean with a large kitchen and separate dining room and it is very suitable for Homestay guests. Cooking facilities are excellent and the kitchen also contains a fridge/freezer & microwave oven. I am happy to look after any guests offering bed & breakfast with evening meals if required. The daily rate will be between 1000 - 1500 Ksh depending on your requirements. Nakuru is about 60miles from Nairobi on the main highway to Eldoret. It is an exciting and vibrant place to stay with good shopping and street markets offering curios, fruit, vegetables, fish and meat. Of course there are the supermarkets doing the same but its good fun to haggle with the stall owners. The scenery is awesome and as you drive on the highways you will see zebra, baboons and colourful birds. Menengai crater is 30minutes drive from Nakuru, and other places to visit such as Thomsons Falls, Lakes Baringo and Bogoria with its boiling geysers are always popular with visitors. Please be in touch soon. Best wishes Peris Mwangi
